गते शोको न कर्तव्यो भविष्यं नैव चिंतयेत्।

One should not mourn over the past and should not remain worried about the future. The clearheaded, wise, focus on the present.
In the middle of any task, the regrets for the past occupy the entire mind. It seems hard to let go of that thought chain. It keeps me occupied and the fear of sinking in it intensifies. Like a ship going down in vortex, the feeling of failing again deflates my will-power to continue.
Although it is not only the regret, sometimes worrying about the future takes charge of my thought-train. The fear of the unknown makes me worry or fear the future ahead.
The future is yet to happen but how it will happen and will it be in accordance with my expectation, is the constant thing that occupies me. It ruins productivity and germinates self-doubt.
Planning is important but worrying about it continuously is futile.
