What is Healing?

In childhood, healing to me was the disappearance of a cut or wound over a period of time. As years passed, the reality taught me that there are wounds that are not visible yet painful and deep.

The platelets help the torn skin to unite and heal the visible wound.

The emotional wounds cannot be healed by platelets.

It takes adequate time and a proper mindset to heal the deep and invisible wounds. Healing helps us focus on the things that matter most.

Unhealed wounds distract more.

Nobody is blessed with a life that is free of emotional pain. Now and then, we face many challenges and sometimes it takes an emotional toll. Without any emotional strength, facing life would be a daunting task.

However, everybody possess emotional strength. Only a few are apt to summon that emotional strength at a proper time.

Like physical strength, emotional strength can be developed over a period of time. When we go through emotional challenges with the right mindset, we grow emotionally stronger from those struggles and eventually we learn to heal ourselves.

The right mindset requires the right company, whether be it insightful people or words. The former may be hard to find but later are dispersed everywhere on the net.
