This ancient science of yoga, that unites the individual consciousness with the ultimate consciousness and which is the ultimate secret: is being revealed by me unto you because you are my devotee and my friend.

Bhagavad-Gita-Chp-4-Verse-3 — -Shloka-HBR-Patel

Bhagwan Shri Krishna confirms that the Yoga or the knowledge that he is revealing to Arjuna is the ultimate secret. The eternal yoga or the science that unites the individual consciousness with the ultimate consciousness is revealed by Bhagwan Shri Krishna to Arjuna. Arjuna receives this ultimate knowledge because he was a disciple and friend of Bhagwan Shri Krishna.

This knowledge is the ultimate secret and it can not be revealed to anyone. The ultimate knowledge of liberating this soul from the clutches of this Maya and attaining the ultimate consciousness will be explained to Arjuna by Bhagwan Shri Krishna as Arjuna has completely surrendered and took refuge in the loving devotion of the Bhagwan Shri Krishna. Arjuna will receive the knowledge that will help him liberate himself from his fears and reach the ultimate consciousness.
