एवं बुद्धे: परं बुद्ध्वा संस्तभ्यात्मानमात्मना |
जहि शत्रुं महाबाहो कामरूपं दुरासदम् || 43||

Thus Knowing the eternal essence to be superior to the intellect, O mighty-armed, steady the mind by self-realization (subdue the self {senses, mind, and intellect} by the self {strength of the soul}) and conquer the insatiable enemy in the form of lust.

Bhagwan Shri Krishna points out the way to conquer the insatiable enemy by self-realization. One must know what is supreme to what and utilize that knowledge to fight and win the inner battle against desires.

Desires or Lust or Kaama is tormenting every living creatures (Expect the Bhagwan Realized Saints). There are likes and dislikes associated with all the individuals and the desires that arise out of the sensory organs directs the individuals to perform the actions towards that direction. The desires overpower the common discriminatory knowledge. People under the influence of Kaama perform immoral…
