मयि सर्वाणि कर्माणि संन्यस्याध्यात्मचेतसा |
निराशीर्निर्ममो भूत्वा युध्यस्व विगतज्वर: || 30||

Therefore, O Arjuna, dedicate your all actions unto Me, with consciousness firmly established in the knowledge of the self-being without any desire for gain, free from egoism and lethargy, fight without grief.

Bhagavad-Gita-Chp-3-Verse-30-Shloka-HBR-Patel

Bhagwan Shri Krishna advises Arjuna to renounce all actions that are for himself. Arjuna should dedicate all of his actions to the Supreme Bhagwan, just like a Yagna.

Arjuna should let go of all the desires and attachment of the result of the actions and thus he will be free from the conception of the doership. Arjuna will be free from the I-ness and My-ness that is tormenting many. Arjuna should perform all the actions only for the satisfaction of the Supreme Bhagwan.

This shloka indicates to us the main purpose of this book. The Karma Yoga in a nut-shell. That how must we perform an action to avoid falling into the pit…
