तत्त्ववित्तु महाबाहो गुणकर्मविभागयो: |
गुणा गुणेषु वर्तन्त इति मत्वा न सज्जते || 28||
O mighty-armed Arjun, a knower of the truth of the fruitive actions of senses and their diverse functions, recognizes the interplay of gunaas (everywhere). Having known this, he does not get entangled in them.
In the previous shloka Bhagwan Shri Krishna explained to Arjuna about the misplaced identity of the soul. The real attachment for the action is due to this misplaced identity and the wise knows the difference that can help them to break the attachment with the actions.
This shloka explains the perfect way to shed away the attachments with the action and attain the liberation for which we are given the physical body.
