तस्मादसक्त: सततं कार्यं कर्म समाचर |
असक्तो ह्याचरन्कर्म परमाप्नोति पूरुष: || 19||

Therefore, without attachment and interruption, one should always perform prescribed actions, since by performing prescribed actions without attachment, an individual attains the supreme.

Bhagwan Shri Krishna explains to Arjuna about the individuals who have realized the ultimate truth and how their performance or non-performance of an action does not affect them.

Those self-realized individuals are free from desires and thus there is not an iota of the impact that performance or non-performance of action on their existence.

Bhagwan Shri Krishna now further explains to Arjuna about the path that he should take as a Karmayogi. Since Arjuna is not self-realized, he should not abandon every action that is his rightful duties.
