इष्टान्भोगान्हि वो देवा दास्यन्ते यज्ञभाविता: |
तैर्दत्तानप्रदायैभ्यो यो भुङ्क्ते स्तेन एव स: ||12||
The celestial gods being pleased by the performance of the sacrifice unto the Supreme Bhagwan will grant unto you all the desired necessities for the nourishment of life; therefore he who enjoys those given necessities without offering them first to the Supreme Bhagwan, that person is certainly a thief.
Bhagwan Shri Krishna in the previous shloka explained to Arjuna about the benefit of performing the sacrificial action/Yagna to offer it to the Supreme Bhagwan. By this Yagna, the celestial gods are pleased and provide us with the essential materials for our sustenance. When we attain those pleasures and essential natural things, we are obliged to share them rather than consume them whole.
We have a moral responsibility to share some rather than consume all. The celestial gods/Devatas are pleased by our selfless and sacrificial actions performed…
