Now my natural abilities are besieged by anxiety and faintheartedness and my deluded intellect cannot decide what is righteousness. I am asking you to please state what is definitely good for me. Guide me, I am your pupil and take refuge in you.

Bhagavad-Gita-Chp-2-Verse-7-Shloka-HBR-Patel

Arjun acknowledges that something is wrong with his sense of judgment of what is right. Initially, he was depressed and was not keen on fighting the war which would result in the slaying of his own family and friends.

He was under the influence of Moha and that engulfed his sense of righteousness. His mind is thrown out of balance due to cowardice germinated due to the influence of Moha. He was brave enough to see his fault and to admit it to a higher power which nowadays only a few are capable of doing that.
