But one who is self-controlled and follows the vedic injunctions even while using the objects of the senses, freed from attachment and aversion and with senses governed by the self; attains the complete mercy of the Ultimate Personality.

Bhagavad-Gita-Chp-2-Verse-64-Shloka-HBR-Patel

This shloka answer the perfect way to live our lives amidst the sense objects and attain the mercy of the Bhagwan. Arjuna asks Shri Krishna Bhagwan that how can a person with steady wisdom experience the sense objects in our daily life by saying that such person experiences the sense objects by maintaining their sense under control.

Previously we have seen that to keep the sense under control requires a lot of effort and it is quite hard for a beginner on this path or even sages with thousands of years of penance. So, how can we control the sense?
