न चैतद्विद्म: कतरन्नो गरीयो यद्वा जयेम यदि वा नो जयेयु: |
यानेव हत्वा न जिजीविषाम स्तेऽवस्थिता: प्रमुखे धार्तराष्ट्रा: || 6||

We do not know what is better for us — conquering them or being conquered by them. Those sons of Dhritrashtra, whom by killing we would not desire to live are gathered before us on the battlefield.

This shloka highlights the fact that Arjuna’s decision to not fight this war is changed into the dilemma of whether or not to fight. He is entertaining the possibility of fighting this war and kill the enemy on the other side while earlier Arjuna was reluctant to fight this battle.

He asks Shri Krishna that what is better in this scenario: whether to conquer them or be conquered by them. Instead of being depressed, he is confused about whether to fight or not.
