व्यवसायात्मिका बुद्धिरेकेह कुरुनन्दन |
बहुशाखा ह्यनन्ताश्च बुद्धयोऽव्यवसायिनाम् || 41||

O Kurunandana (descendent of the Kurus), the intellect of those who are on this path is firmly resolved and their aim is one. But the thoughts of those who are irresolute are many-branched and endless.

Bhagwan Shri Krishna further explains the path of Karma Yoga. In this path, that means on the path of Karma Yoga, the intellect has a higher goal and all actions are towards one goal. In this path, all the actions are surrendered to the Bhagwan, and that too with any desire. They have a balanced and equipoised mind that focuses on only one goal: to please the supreme entity.

Those with endless desires, who perform actions that are attached to the results, are never satisfied as their desires are unending. Their actions are guided by selfish goals and that is the reason that they have multiple goals. The endless desire for fame, wealth, power, and other…
