आश्चर्यवत्पश्यति कश्चिदेन माश्चर्यवद्वदति तथैव चान्य: |
आश्चर्यवच्चैनमन्य: शृ्णोति श्रुत्वाप्येनं वेद न चैव कश्चित् || 29||

Some look upon the Atma(self) as wonder, some speak about Atma as wonder, and some hear of the Soul as wonder. Still, while others even after hearing it as a wonder don’t understand it at all.

Shri Krishna enlightens Arjuna with the ultimate wisdom of eternal and mysterious Atma(soul). The atomic soul is our true identity. It is not easy to grasp it with the body, mind, and intellect because the soul cannot be seen or heard, felt, or conceived. Shri Krishna points out that even after hearing, looking, or speaking about the true nature of the soul many are unable to grasp the true nature.

The reason why intelligent people laments is due to ignorance about the true nature of the eternal soul. When in good company, we might be fortunate to hear about the true nature of the soul. Hearing only won’t help us as after some time we…
