अव्यक्तादीनि भूतानि व्यक्तमध्यानि भारत |
अव्यक्तनिधनान्येव तत्र का परिदेवना || 28||

O Arjuna, all created beings are unmanifest before birth, manifest between birth and death, and after death is again unmanifest. Therefore, why should you grieve about this?

Arjuna is in a state of delusion under the influence of Maya that causes attachment to his family and friends. This causes hesitation and he is unable to perform his righteous action. He is worried about the results of his action. The war will annihilate his family and friends that are on the other side of the battlefield and that causes grief and delusion in his mind.

Bhagwan Shri Krishna tries to explain and enlighten Arjuna with the ultimate wisdom that can destroy the attachment and uplift his from the state of grief.

Bhagwan Shri Krishna highlights that all living entities were unknown in the beginning or before birth. Then in the middle, all the living entities…
