Influence from the fictional world has made me equate bravery & courage to acts of strength undertaken by protagonists in life or death situations.
It is like a superhero fighting with all his supernatural strength with the enemy when everyone else has given up. From that, I inferred that Bravery has to be Grand and it should be worth Cheering for.
But, after reading dozens of self-help books and listening to podcasts, one thing became clear: Courage doesn’t have to be grand, it can be as small as an act of defeating that laziness inside us, arguing with us to stay in bed.
Bravery is embedded in our daily tasks which we mastered with practice and discipline.
To exercise or not? To learn something new or to binge-watch a new series? To sleep early or to mindlessly scroll down on social media? To utilise the time efficiently or to waste it unwisely? To give up on the dream or to persevere?
